While Katy has spent a large portion of her career as a hairstylist on national and international stages and backstage at London and Paris Fashion Week, the social engagements of her two boys Josh and Aden have anchored her hair life (very happily) closer to home. Katy is a Resident Salon Stylist at Exquisite Hair, Cromer and Guest Salon Stylist at The Acadèmie Salon, Annandale.

For as long as Katy has been hairdressing she has also been a Hairdressing Educator. From passing up pins to her Dad in San Francisco just after her 18th Birthday, to her long serving role as National Creative Director for TONI&GUY Australia, sharing her expert knowledge and skill set has punctuated her hairdressing diary since she picked up her first set of scissors.

Commercial cutting & styling workshops
Katy Reeve Education focuses on providing commercial, salon friendly cutting and styling training. All courses adopt a ‘service first’ approach to training, maintaining the context of real clients and real columns whilst creatively inspiring the stylist.
The following four courses have been carefully designed as stand alone full day workshops. Should time and resources allow, these courses can be completed progressively within your salon training schedule. Katy Reeve Workshops can be rolled out in your salon ‘as is’ or tweaked to suit your salon education needs.
Hair direction for screen, stage and show
The land of Creative Hair Direction for fashion shows, shoots and stage presentations is Katy’s natural habitat. Her reputation for injecting a total sense of calm amongst the highly charged corridors of Carrigeworks or a large-scale hair show with multiple models, make-up, styling and AV team is almost hypnotic.
